The year is half over and I have to keep pinching myself when I think back on the amazing time we've had bringing "In This Town" to the masses, sharing shows with great friends - new and old - and experiencing a whole lot of firsts. Our hearts are so full of gratitude and there isn't enough space here. There is, however, plenty of room for elaboration on the Cappsule page, if you're so inclined.
We're really proud to report that "In This Town" made it on to a couple of pretty cool "best of" lists, including the Folk DJs' top songs (#38 out of 200), artists and albums of 2007; WVPE in Elkhart IN "The Back Porch Best Albums of 2007", A3radio's Folk it! show honored us with Song, Artist and Album of the year and Maggie Ferguson of WXOU's Old Front Porch program gave us a "very honorable mention".
 Rod and I are also honored to appear on "Authentic Voice" a compilation CD produced by Kari Estrin, that was released in February and grabbed the #15 spot on the folk radio charts. It 's available at our shows in VERY limited quantities and features our song "In This Town" along with 14 amazing artists who have worked with Kari over the past year. The months ahead bring us to more new cities, new venues and new faces but we'll be keeping the home fires burning with several local shows too. Plus, we're committed to putting out our 6th CD of original music before the year is out!
